A region of Spain, the anthem used in the Canaries for official local occasions was introduced on May 30 (Canary Islands Day), 2003. It is a portion of the composition "Cantos Canarios" (Canarian Songs) by Teobaldo Power y Lugo-Vina (the same composer as the previous anthem) called "Arrorró".
