The local anthem of this British colony was chosen as a result of a competition and officially adopted on October 18, 1994.

Gibraltar's anthem is a perfect example of what an anthem should be, stirring and simple, while encapulating how natives and the world view the country. As such, Gibraltar's anthem is one of my top favourites.
