“Aruba Dushi Tera”, a waltz composed by Rufo Inocencio Wever with words by Juan Chabaya Lampe, was first adopted by Aruba as a territorial anthem on March 18, 1976, while part of the Netherlands Antilles. After Aruba became its own independent entity within the Kingdom of the Netherlands, it became a national anthem.
